Hot Chocolate Run

Registering for my first ever Hot Chocolate Run. I feel that I haven't ran a speedy race in a while. My last winning race was "The Biggest Loser 5k", which was back in the month of August. Yes, I did run Chicago Marathon, but that was more of a run than a speedy race. I trained more to slow my pace down, and run to finished rather than set a new personal record. This weekend I hope to see where I'm at as far as my fitness, after finishing my seventeenth marathon back in October (Chicago Marathon). I hope to run two more races before we go into the new year, and hope to go out with a blast, and into the new year.

Ryan's Light 5k/10k

Took 1st place, this year at Ryan's Light 5k. I ran a 17:43 on this out-and-back course, in Haleiwa. I plan on returning next year, to possibly run the 10k or I may just run the 5k again. Great award also! It means a lot! Looking at the award, years from now, it will put a smile on my face.

2013 Jamba Juice Banana Man Chase 5k

I ran a 18:30,while wearing this, and had lots of fun. A few of the runners, thought I was a official Jamba Juice Banana, but I wasn't! It's my costume, and I ran with it to put some smiles on runners faces, because there aren't any speedy banana's on course. Took a lot of pictures with kids, and runners after the race. Great time! Would love to do this again : )
