My 18th career marathon (Chicago Marathon) is officially 4 weeks away! Even though I've ran 17 total; i have looked forward to every single one. Accomplishing the distance is what makes it special to me, and the mental side of it. You can be the most fittest, but if you aren't mentally there prior to, and during the marathon it will break you. Every one that I've ran; I've had significant things going on in my life that i had to ignore; in order to accomplish the distance.
