2015 TCS New York City Marathon

Just entered the lottery for the New York City Marathon, this year. It will be my 2nd World Major Marathon.

Apartment searching.....

Looking for a place to move in, Peoria, Decatur, Joliet, Naperville, Aurora, Hazel Crest (Illinois), or Terre Haute Indiana. I tried looking for places in the city of Chicago, but not luck. All I could find were apartments in the ghetto. I'm not about to put myself through that. No time for that!

Rugrat On Wheels

First training run, turned into a speedy race! A speedy race, with a young skateboarder. The little "Rugrat on wheels" provoked me! Provoked me, by looking back, more than once. I picked it up, after he looked back the second time. I looked back, and he was gone : )

Dose of negative

Ouch! Just got a dose of negative from a fellow SNCO! Now I know who not to hang around with on the weekend. Very few supporters of running. Very! I guess if I was a drinker or party person, i'd get more supporters.

One hundred and thirty some back

One hundred and thirty some races back, I fell in love with running. I registered for my first marathon (2007 Marine Corps Marathon), curious to run one after reading a article on Dean Karnazes. At the time, he was doing the fifty marathons in fifty different states, and I figured why not do one, since he is doing fifty. I fell in love with the environment, while training. After my first few races I was addicted, and it also got me away from base (Henderson Hall) Arlington,VA. That's how it all began for me, and still running strong.

Angry people

@ Angry people, that were hurt from relationships and posting about it on facebook, myspace, or any other site: Set up and hug me stand, cause you need a hug. There is hope!. You will be ok, just go for a run. ;-)
